Gifted and Talented Dance Weekend:

Some children from Years 4, 5 and 6 had the chance to audition for a Gifted and Talented Weekend of Dance with Liverpool School's Sport Partnership.

Lili McGee, Katie Barker, Abbey Reid and Olivia Manning auditioned as a group from Year 6 whilst Rebecca Duckworth (Year 6), Bethan Fletcher (Year 5) and William Cody (Year 4) auditioned as soloists.

We were extremely happy and proud when they found out that they had all successfully made it through to the competition stage at St. Margaret's Secondary School in Aigburth. The children attended a weekend dance workshop from Friday 25th - Sunday 27th March with specialist dance instructors. They then performed their routines for parents and teachers on the Sunday.

They all worked extremely hard and really enjoyed themselves. The event was made even more special when William was awarded 'Best Solo Dancer' by the judges! A big well done to all who took part and a big thank you to Miss Waters for organising it!
