Year 6 trip to Kingswood
Colomendy:
Children
in Year 6 had an amazing time in Kingswood Colomendy!
Over 40 children packed up their outdoor clothes,
said goodbye to their parents/carers and boarded
the coach on Wednesday 15th September. There were
a few tears before they left - and that was just
the adults! After a short journey the group arrived
at Kingswood Colomendy and the fun began! Once
the children had claimed their dorms and made
their beds it was time to explore and start the
activities. From that point on, the timetable
was packed with fun activities! Over the three
days, the children participated in; caving, giant
zip wire, problem solving, indoor initiatives,
nightline, bouldering, survival zone, grass sledging
and orienteering, It wasn't just the days that
were filled with fun - on their first night the
children put their party clothes on and danced
away at the disco and the second night was Leamington's
Mini Olympics. The group were also there for Thomas'
birthday so enjoyed cake before they left on Friday
afternoon. All in all, it was a fantastic trip
that all the children and staff enjoyed. They
all came back happy but tired, especially; Miss
Simcoe, Mrs Lewis, Ms Tuzio, Mrs Fredson, Miss
Aucutt and PC Chris!!!
Happy Birthday Thomas!!!
