Leamington Dance

Saturday
5th November 2011

All children from Leamington Dance took part in
a sponsored dance-a-thon to raise money for Roy
Castle Lung Cancer Foundation. They worked so
hard on their 10 minute Zumbatomic routine, giving
up their lunchtimes to rehearse, and collecting
sponsorship money. In total the 16 dancers raised
a fantastic £714.58 of the £15,000
raised overall. They were well-behaved and a credit
to our school. I am so proud of them!

Following on from the success of the dance-a-thon,
Leamington Dance Club worked on a routine, in
one week, which they performed as part of the
annual Primary Dance Festival at St John Bosco
Arts College. They had to have a message in their
dance and they chose to show how there is 'science
in music'. Again, they were fantastic, well-behaved
and did our school proud. They're little stars
in the making!
