Walk to School week 2011

This week is 'Walk to School' week.

At Leamington we would like to promote this as a great way of keeping fit and healthy. Walking to school is an ideal way of spending time with your child, it can help you both to start the day with a boost of 'feel good' endorphins. Walking is a great way for you to blow away the cobwebs and start each day with a fresh outlook.

If you walk to school, then carry on doing exactly that and your child will get their daily sticker.

If you don't walk to school, it couldn't be easier to give it a go! Perhaps you can walk just to school or one day during the week.
If you live too far away from school, or you need the car for work, parking a two minute walk away will reduce congestion just outside school whilst still getting the health benefits and help improve your child's road sense.

By taking part you will be joining with over 70,000 other children and their parents taking part in Walk to School Week.

Enjoy your walk!
