Extra Curricular
DigiSmart is a form of intervention group, which targets Year 5 children who are needing further support in reading. It is an ICT based intervention which enables children to build upon and form new skills in helping them succeed in reading.
The program is split in to 10 Core sessions and 9 More sessions. Each session children get a tutorial about ehat skills they will be building on that session and the targets that they want to meet at the end of it. Once children have completed their tasks there are lots of ‘Extra’ parts that can be compelted.
12 year 5 chidlren have been chosen to take part in this exciting new group. Children are really enjoying the fun activities that we get to carry out.
