At Leamington CP School we are dedicated to children’s safety in all aspects of school life. As you know, we have a range of fantastic ICT resources in school and we use the Internet regularly to enhance the children’s learning. However, this can come with risks if the children are not aware of E-Safety and how to keep safe whilst using ICT. We begin the school year with an initial E-Safety lesson with the children to introduce and recap the concept. We also have a set of E-Safety rules that the children know and sign a contract to confirm that they will act accordingly. E-Safety is crucial to children’s education and we ensure all children are aware of how to keep safe whilst online.

Live Streaming:

We have received guidance on the issue of online safety and ‘Live Streaming’. Live streaming is a live visual broadcast over the internet. It is a popular feature of many apps that the children use. It is a feature that, at a click of a button, can enable users to be live on the internet to hundreds or thousands of followers.
