Extra Curricular

We try to make our school an exciting and stimulating environment and we are always open to new ideas that parents may have. Throughout the year activities are organised to enrich children’s experiences. These may be half or full day visits, entertainers, workshops, plays, demonstrations etc.

We hold special assemblies, concerts and school productions. In Years 2 and 6 the children have the opportunity to take part in residential trips in North Wales.

The teachers of Leamington give up a great deal of their spare time to extra-curricular activities which include:

Year 2 Clubs

Y2 Art Club

The children enjoy using different techniques and mediums to create their own individual works of art.

Y2 Spanish Club

Juani teaches the children new Spanish vocabulary such as how to have short conversations with each other, numbers, colours and animals. They play games, sing songs and watch interactive stories.

Y2 Reading Club

The children use the school library to find books they are interested in. They share these with each other and can then borrow them for the week to share with their families.
